Translation — Fully Offline
Translate between dozens of languages without any internet connection. Useful for field work, mission work, and international travel. Access via the Translator tool in the sidebar.
Starlink Mini Integration
Pair your toolkit with Starlink Mini for portable satellite internet in remote locations. Use Command Center when connected, switch to offline USB when you need to go dark or conserve power. See User Guide → Starlink Mini.
Performance Optimization
Start with the 4b model for speed, move to 12b when you need more depth. Close unnecessary programs, use USB 3.0+ ports only, and clear chat periodically for long sessions. See User Guide → Performance Expectations.
Troubleshooting
Running into an issue? Most problems have a quick fix.
Disconnected Status or Won't Launch
Check that antivirus isn't blocking the launcher. Open Task Manager and end any leftover OffGrid AI ToolKit or Caddy processes, then relaunch. Full steps in User Guide → Troubleshooting.
Slow Responses
Switch to a smaller model (4b is fastest). Close other programs to free up RAM. Make sure the USB is in a USB 3.0+ port — not a USB 2.0 port. Response times vary by hardware; see User Guide → Performance for benchmarks.
